Broderie Perse was a popular European applique style quilting in the 18th century. French for "Persian embroidery", it is a style of appliqué which uses printed elements to create a scene on the background fabric. Dark blue Kona fabric was used and Kaffe Fassett floral fabric creates the floral motif. The florals are hand-cut, fused, then topstitched. The quilt has an all-over long arm quilted paisley design. The back to front binding technique was used. Measures 53”W x 72” tall. A pocket sleeve for hanging can be added for an additional charge.
